Social Responsibility

Every child should be able to take part

At Nordic Upwind, our responsibility doesn't end at the site fence. We believe that companies building for the future must also build the communities around them – and sometimes the story begins on a training mat, not on a construction site.

Nordic Upwind sponsors a local martial arts club for children in Oslo. There, the children learn more than a sport. They learn focus, self-confidence, respect and good habits – values that stay with them at school, in their free time and in the communities they are part of.

Social responsibility is also about seeing individuals, not just groups. When we get to know families in our local community who are going through a difficult time, we want to help where it truly makes a difference, with practical support rather than grand gestures. It is often the small things that make the real difference.

This is what social responsibility means to Nordic Upwind: investing in the people around us as purposefully as we invest in companies. Everything we do is built on people, wherever they are.
